Boy In Hit-And-Run Undergoes Plastic Surgery

When the West News reported that a five-year-old boy is undergoing plastic surgery for head wounds after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in Ridgewood.

The boy’s mother Sharon Anderson, speaking from her son's bedside, has pleaded with the driver to face up to his crime and turn himself in. "He has a huge laceration on his head right down to his skull," she said. "What do you do as a mom, I was just distraught, he is my little boy," she said.
